Authority Model

Why Market Coverage Comes Before AI-Only Rankings

A national agent resource cannot be authoritative if it publishes a thin leaderboard. The Index builds broad evidence depth first, then publishes separate proof-gated team and individual rankings in AI Visibility order.

Thin leaderboards do not help consumers

A buyer or seller needs enough credible options to compare representation models, price-band experience, review footprint, and local proof. A tiny AI-only leaderboard may look clean, but it can exclude strong agents simply because their AI audit is not finished yet.

Familiar proof controls eligibility

Public production, review footprint, identity clarity, and source quality determine whether an agent or team can rank. Consumer Authority summarizes supporting context but does not define the public order.

AI visibility defines the rank order

Once a category has enough proof-gated candidates, AI Visibility shows which proven agents and teams are easiest for modern search and AI systems to find, connect, cite, and explain.

Featured rankings stay stricter

Directory inclusion is not an endorsement. Featured rankings require stronger proof gates, including sales proof, review proof, identity clarity, source quality, and enough AI visibility evidence to support a consumer-facing score.
