Public changes

  • Published the aggregate benchmark covering 128 AI answers across 16 U.S. markets.
  • Authority model separates broad source-backed directory coverage from stricter featured rankings.
  • Directory pages expose AI Visibility as the default sort and Consumer Authority, production, and reviews as supporting lenses.
  • Team and individual categories are kept separate for each live market.
  • Consumer shortlist, privacy, terms, referral disclosure, and evidence-submission workflows are public and machine-readable.
  • Validated refresh policy explains how public evidence layers update while rank movement remains gated.
  • Ranking placement cannot be purchased, and submissions cannot buy inclusion or favorable scoring.
  • Published ranking edition 2026-q3-inaugural under methodology version 2026.1; this transparency release did not change scores, ranks, or eligibility.
  • Published ownership, correction-service-level, and ranking-movement reason-code records.

Known limits

  • Featured rankings use a higher evidence standard than the broader directory and may include fewer names.
  • License and disciplinary checks are not yet automated.
  • Public directory coverage is live in 37 markets; expansion markets remain unpublished until their proof gates clear.
  • AI visibility coverage grows as each market completes a direct, source-backed evaluation.
  • The Index is not an unreviewed live scrape. New source information is verified before it can change a public ranking.
